Tobias Braegger, Dr. iur. HSG., Managing Partner

Tobias is Managing Partner of iploit. Tobias gathered experience in the IP field during his assignment in one of Germany's leading law firms and by introducing IP into the financial services industry. Tobias lectures also on the topic of finance, insurance and anti trust law. He graduated from the law school of the University of St. Gallen (1996) and made his Ph.D. at the University of St. Gallen and the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to iploit, Tobias served in various positions at Zurich Financial Services and of the Executive M.B.L-HSG. He was also involved in a start-up in San Francisco during his time at the University of California, Berkeley. Tobias published several articles in law journals covering the topics of European integration and European law.

Iwan von Wartburg, Dr. oec. publ., Managing Partner

Iwan is Managing Partner of iploit. Iwan's experience in the IP field includes patent valuation projects related to more than $1 billion in financial transactions and patent analysis research projects with more than 30'000 patent families worldwide. Iwan is a frequent speaker / lecturer on corporate strategy, technology and innovation management, patent management, and licensing strategies. Iwan graduated in Business Administration at the University of Zurich (1994), Switzerland, and earned his doctorate in innovation management at the same institution. He was a senior research and teaching fellow in the field of patent management and patent analysis at the University of Berne, Switzerland, and a visiting professor at the University of Hamburg, Germany. He published several articles in business and scholarly journals on the topics of his expertise.
